"Likeable and unapologetic pop."
Melbourne's Darling James trips down a dreamy route with their debut EP, continuing the indie pop-rock vibes they've dished out in a handful of singles these past couple of years.
Thanks to the group's nous for penning likeable and unapologetic pop, there's far more to Theory Of Mind to sink one's teeth into than the usual output from the genre. Last year's single Ultimatum Talk, riddled with organ and sweet ukulele, is ably backed by playful highlight God's Graffiti and the snappy, fuzzy keys-filled The Itch. Crooner Ache & Bend proves these guys are better off sticking to the upbeat fare, but it's a solid debut nonetheless.
