"A deeper focus on the musicality would have strengthened the cohesiveness of this piece."

This album comes across as a very personal body of work, dealing with themes of love, struggle and perseverance.

Seeing as the majority of the tracks are written using a four-chord song structure, it would have been beneficial to add more variation in terms of instrumentation, or even tempo, to avoid any feeling of repetition when listening to this album as a whole. A more vigilant edit may have helped this. At times the main vocals, harmonies and guitars sound quite separate. This may either be due to the somewhat excessive use of reverb on some tracks or a mixing/mastering issue. This is a heartfelt offering, however a deeper focus on the musicality would have strengthened the cohesiveness of this piece.
