"Barnett perfectly captures the musings of a laidback (yet mildly anxious) slacker throughout."

More Courtney Barnett More Courtney Barnett

Featuring keen folk stylings peppered with distortion, this double EP is propelled by the strength of Barnett's unique, lackadaisical vocals and understated but wonderfully witty lyrics. Never taking itself too seriously or relying on cliché, this relaxed offering brings something new and special to the table. Opening with the longing, murky Out Of The Woodwork, we then experience the popular, psych-infused single Avant Gardener, then the jangly chords of David and Lance Jr before lilting, introspective tracks such as Porcelain. Barnett perfectly captures the musings of a laidback (yet mildly anxious) slacker throughout.
