Alex Williamson: Dumb Things I've Done

Methamphetamines, marijuana and mum jokes; welcome to The Melbourne International Sausage Fest, this year headlined by Adelaide's own Alex Williamson. Finding his fame via YouTube, this evening his “followers” lap up his crass gutter gags as he plays out the façade of a knockabout, drug-affected bogan. Punctuated by songs played on guitar and the sharing of photos from his computer, the highlight of Dumb Things I've Done is a drunken conversation Williamson has with himself via text message. Remove the incessant profanities and salacious stories and you'd have yourself a provocative YouTube skit, alas not the entire basis for an hour-long routine.
