"Racial material, obscene language and comparing Tony Abbott to Hitler: Akmal owned that stage"
Where does one start when it comes to Akmal Saleh?
Racial material, obscene language and comparing Tony Abbott to Hitler: Akmal owned that stage. His interactions with the audience were genius in a show where anything could happen. With Akmal covering topics from buying a house full of bush rats to jokes about ISIS, the audience loved every minute of it – turning back the boats probably one of the highlights of the night, where Akmal jokes that Aboriginal people should have turned back the boats when the English came to settle in Australia. If you left the show offended, you really need to learn to take a joke. It was a brilliant, intense but hilarious show.
