Yours & Owls Announce 2016 Lineup

When the Labour Day long weekend rolls around this October, Wollongong festival Yours & Owls will be playing host to a bunch of local and international indie and rock talent. Just a heads up from us to you.

Announced earlier today, there's a pretty cool line-up secured for the two-day festival to play on its two stages. With PUP, The Living End, COG, Ball Park Music, Black Mountain and Stonefield, among others, cover the rock and indie crowds, you'll also have KLP, Remi and Antwon cover the hip-hop/rap demographics, as well as Vera Blue and Ladyhawke for the all the pop fans in attendance. Then you've got the more wild card groups, like Totally Unicorn, who are just sorta... there, but who will definitely put on a gnarly performance.

Much like say, St. Jerome's Laneway Festival, I think that this is actually a pretty cool event (it has motherfucking Ladyhawke playing, holy shit!), even if it does have a rather hipster, nostalgia-filled lineup.

Tickets go on sale Monday, June 20th and pre-release tickets, available only to those on the Y&O mailing list, will go on sale 9amFriday June 17th. Tickets can be purchased from here or here, where you can also find more info about the event.
