A389 Recordings has announced the addition of North Carolina's Young And In The Way to the label's ever-growing roster. For the unfamiliar, YAITW play what is best described as black metal influenced metallic hardcore that is stark, atmospheric and truly majestic in its delivery.
Since their formation in 2009, Young And In The Way have several independent releases under their belts, including their latest LP "I Am Not What I Am" which was released earlier this year. Originally released independently as a very limited pressing, A389 will be breathing new life into "I Am Not What I Am", giving it an official reissue later this year. There are also plans in the works to release the band's previous CD-only release, "Amen", for the first time on vinyl.
