Band coming back in May

More We Are Scientists More We Are Scientists

American indie band We Are Scientists have postponed their upcoming Australian tour to finish off their next album, with new dates – excluding Adelaide – scheduled for May.

Set to kick off Wednesday 22 of this month, the band announced today that “Due to the need to put finishing touches to their forthcoming album, We Are Scientists are regrettably postponing their upcoming Australian tour to May 2014.”

Incidentally, the new dates will take them out of the busy January festival period. Kicking off Wednesday 28 May at Melbourne's The Corner the new tour dates “do not allow” for a new Adelaide event, with ticketholders offered refunds. Tickets for the other old shows will now be valid for the new dates.

Their first Australian tour since 2008, the band will be taking tracks from their fan-favourite album With Love & Squalor, most recent record Brain Thrust Mastery and new material from their upcoming release.
