Turns out a lot.
Australians really do love beloved science personality and triple j frequenter Dr Karl Kruszelnicki, as evident by last night’s episode of SBS genealogy series Who Do You Think You Are?.
As TV Tonight reports, the show’s latest episode scored 479,000 viewers, which – outside of the World Cup coverage – was the network’s highest rating show across 2018 and 2019.
Kruszelnicki’s appearance on the show almost saw SBS surpass ABC’s 7:30 last night, which pulled 481,000.
Also over on the ABC, Recording Studio was overtaken by Seven’s House Rules, which was watched by 556,000 people.
In last night’s episode of Who Do You Think You Are?, Kruszelnicki looked into his parents’ life before they came to Australia as refugees in 1950, when he was two years old.
