Hey Kids! Who Likes AURAL CHAOS? Veil of Maya's new one 'Synthwave Vegan' is brutal and chaotic in equal measure, while also somehow maintaining a GROOVY AS FUCK through-line. It's classic VoM and I am here for it.

Genre-bending metal powerhouses Veil of Maya have today released their video/track "Synthwave Vegan" (out via Sumerian Records). 

Frankly, it's aural chaos - and that's just what's great about it! I have only seen Veil of Maya once previously live and that was when they were in Australia supporting Dance Gavin Dance at a sold-out Brightside in Brisbane - and not going to lie, with even as big a DGD simp that I am, went home in a Veil of Maya shirt. I am unsure of how that they manage to harness and wield the sonic carnage that they create, but it's fucking IMPRESSIVE. 

The title of this song seems to hilariously pair together two groups of people who DEFINITELY love to tell you about the things that they are into/about - I can only imagine what a Vegan Synthwave fan would be like to be around. At least they'd have two topics to talk about, I guess?
