Trop Jr Moves Indoors To Escape Heatwave

Due to take place tomorrow from midday, Tropfest organisers have made the decision to move Trop Jr indoors to escape the heatwave enveloping Australia's southwestern states this weekend.

The short film festival for kids will no longer be held at Parramatta Park, the home of its older sibling Tropfest later that day, but at nearby Westfield Parramatta's Event Cinemas.

Organisers state, "We want to ensure our talented young filmmakers are able to showcase their films to an excited and “cool” crowd."

Tomorrow's Tropfest will still be held at Parramatta Park, with live music due to kick off from 5pm and Black Carpet arrivals from 6pm.
