What a gem.

Not for profit community radio station Triple R turns 40 this year, and with the big 4-1 in mind, they're running their annual radiothon subscription drive between 19-28 August.

This year they've reworked an old slogan originally penned way back in '94 by (still) subscriber Greg Ades - 'The Jewel In The Junk Heap' - and asked Melbourne visual artist Bille Justice Thomson to design the posters.

With almost 14,000 subscribers and more than 440,000 listeners per week, Triple R is the country's largest community radio station and the annual subscription radiothon funds over half their operations for the following 12 months.

Support local radio by subscribing - there are even a stack of prizes up for grabs.
