The Music Podcast Meets Tom Cruise & Kicks Back With Peking Duk & Vera Blue

Neil & Dave are back with another episode of The Music Podcast, which is kind of remarkable given the number of parties they seemed to attend to put this week's installment together.

First up, they headed along to the black-carpet premiere of The Mummy, the first flick in Universal's newly titled 'Dark Universe' of monster-centric movies, and interviewed the film's stars, Tom Cruise, Russell Crowe and Sofia Boutella, as well as director Alex Kurtzman.

Oh, think we're lying, because that could literally be anyone on that tape and you'd be none the wiser? WELL, LOOK AT THIS. Does that look like "anyone" to you? No, it looks like triple Golden Globe-winning actor and weirdly symmetrical face-haver Thomas Cruise Mapother the Fourth. So, there.

Then, they backed that up by getting down to Spotify's fifth birthday party and managing to pull Adam Hyde and Reuben Styles — aka Peking Duk — and the super-talented Vera Blue away from the festivities for long enough to sit down and have a chat when they could've been, we don't know, doing alcohol and licking ice sculptures? Is that "parties"?
