More The Kid LAROI More The Kid LAROI

It seems that The Kid LAROI is gearing up for a massive 2023, with a few things in the works that are slowly coming to light.

The Aussie rapper took to social media today to announce his new album, The First Time, which included a 30-second video teaser.

In it, Laroi speaks softly over a bunch of artsy VHS recorded clips, outlining a number of ‘first times’, “You never forget the first time… the first time you fall in love… the first time you get caught… the first time you feel shame… the first real kiss.”

In the next slide over, the Thousand Miles rapper seems to announce the first release, titled The First Song. Due to the title of the album, it’s unclear if ‘The First Song’ is the title of the first release or just representative of the fact that it’s the first song fans will hear off the album. Especially since the caption of the post asks fans which song they'd like to see first.

“NEXT WEEK 1/19 🎠 let me know what song you want.. pre save link in bio. I can’t believe we’re finally doing this #THEFIRSTTIME.”

Fans' comments are flooding the post asking for Laroi to drop different songs that he has shared clips of over the past year, the most popular request being Where Does Your Spirit Go

Despite announcing the first single, Laroi has given no hints as to when the album will be released, only teasing that it will be “coming soon.”

The First Time will be the follow-up to his 2020 mixtape F*ck Love, which was beloved around the world, toppling charts in both Australian and The US.

In other news, Tom Henderson of Insider Gaming has reported that The Kid LAROI will be coming to Fortnite.

Following in the footsteps of other megastars such as Ariana Grande and Travis Scott, Laroi will host a concert inside the game.

Sources have revealed that the event will take place on either the 24th or 25th of January and that the music from the concert with be playable for a month after it finishes, suggesting that the show is probably not going to be held live.

Despite the confirmation of the collaboration, no further information has been released at this time.

With a lot of things up in the air, we can only wait and see how this year pans out for The Kid Laroi.
