Supersuckers ProfileCalling yourself "the Greatest Rock'n'Roll Band in the World" is going to go one of two ways for a band; thankfully for Tucson, Arizona's Supersuckers, they really are a force to be reckoned with so, even if you disagree with the self-serving sentiment, you can't hate them too much for expressing it.
The band have been going hard at it for 25 years or so now and they still absolutely kick arse; their brand of southern rock owes takes the best parts of that classic American genre and gives it a good dose of revved up garage rock, making for some seriously good party music.
They've released a whole stack of records in the years they've been together, the latest being this year's Get The Hell, so there's plenty for them to draw from when they make their return to Australia this June. Sure, it'll be winter when they're here, but the venues that host them will be veritable sweatboxes when the band are done at each of their six shows planned around the country.
