"We are proud to have earned the respect of one of the recording industry's greatest ears for sound.”

You can add US music legend Stevie Wonder to the list of people who are a fan Nuraphones, the groundbreaking headphones from two Melbourne-based inventors that are taking the world by storm.

Nura were showcasing at Las Vegas technology convention CES in January, which is where they were awarded the 2019 Innovation Honouree for upcoming product The Nuraloop and met Wonder.

Wonder asked to demo Nuraphone – which automatically tunes to your unique hearing profile - and the team then gifted him a pair, which led to the artist reportedly purchasing another three pairs the following day and going on to wear them at various press appearances.

“Being huge fans of Stevie Wonder, we were honoured to see the legendary artist using his Nuraphones live on radio this week for a freestyle," Nura told The Music.

"We are proud to have earned the respect of one of the recording industry's greatest ears for sound.”

Upon launching in 2016, the Nuraphone Kickstarter campaign became Australia’s largest ever, raising $1.8 million USD.
