The fan-contributed, Ridley Scott-produced documentary on rock legend Bruce Springsteen is set to be released globally this winter.

According to Billboard, Springsteen & I will hit theatres worldwide on Monday 22 July, with tickets for the screenings to go on sale Tuesday 4 June.

The features promises to be something a little different to your normal music doco - it's made up of fan-made films covering a stack of unique footage including live performances. The film is supported by the Boss, his management and label Columbia Records.

Music video maestro Ballie Walsh is the director of the piece. Check out the trailer below.
