Splendour To Offer VIP Tickets For $700

Splendour In The Grass is offering Gold VIP tickets to the public for the first time this year, offering punters the opportunity to buy into the VIP bar area and secret main stage grandstand that artists, media and industry have enjoyed in previous years.

The festival, for which general admission tickets sold out in 43 minutes, held a small amount of tickets back for this VIP sale, but will also be offering ticket-holders to upgrade their current tickets. The upgrade will cost $350 while outright VIP tickets are $700 (both per person).

Festival co-producer Jessica Ducrou said today, "Many overseas festivals, and other Australian events, offer VIP tickets and it's something our patrons have been asking us about. We withheld a very small allocation of tickets to provide it as an exclusive offer this year."

The premium tickets will go on sale from noon Friday 8 June through Moshtix.
