The British chanteuse expects to be fully recovered by June
Freshly named Splendour In The Grass heavyweights Florence + The Machine preceded their announcement aboard the festival this morning with some unfortunate news - that frontwoman Florence Welch has broken her foot following a stage leap at the Coachella festival in the United States.
As a result of her injury, which Welch publicised via the band's social media this morning (AEST), she announced that she'd be forced to strip back her live performances until she recovers.
"I'm so sorry, I'm pretty devastated, but I still want to do the shows," Welch wrote in her social media message.
"I understand this is not what you were expecting, but I hope its just as enjoyable. I'm going to try and make it super special for you."
