‘The Simpsons’ Meets Tame Impala, Violent Soho & More In These Reimagined Album Covers

Now I finally have time to do what I've always wanted: Photoshop characters from ‘The Simpsons’ onto classic album covers.

Get ready to bear witness to The Simpsons localised entirely within classic album covers from some of Australia’s favourite artists.

If you’re still looking for something to do during iso and you’ve already smashed all 29 seasons of The Simpsons on Disney+, maybe you can put some of that knowledge to good use via Facebook page The Simpsons poorly photoshopped on to album covers.

It might be safe to assume that its origins can be attributed to an Aussie, or at least someone with a passion for local music, as the first altered album cover uploaded to the page was SkegssMy Own Mess and its since featured the likes of Tame Impala, Violent Soho, TOWNS, Dear Seattle, Hockey Dad, The Amity Affliction, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard and more.

The page is quickly grabbing the attention of Aussie acts too, with Ball Park Music giving it a shout out at the end of last year, while DZ Deathrays have today shared a photoshopped version of Bloody Lovely, which is... bloody lovely.

Outside of Aussie talent, there’s awesome mashups between The Simpsons and Green Day, Foo Fighters, Tyler, The Creator, Metallica, BENEE, My Chemical Romance, Black Sabbath, Sum 41, blink-182 and stacks more.

But, the page's admins need some help, recently sharing they’re “running low on album covers, submissions and suggestions would be appreciated”, while also teasing a Futurama week “very soon”.

You can check out more album covers and make suggestions here.
