They're back!

Following the announcement of their return as Seeker Lover Keeper last month, acclaimed Australian artists Holly Throsby, Sally Seltmann and Sarah Blasko are back today with brand new music and news of a massive tour.

The new single from Seeker Lover Keeper, Wild Seeds, is taken from the group's forthcoming album of the same name, which the band have confirmed will be released on 9 August.

The release of the track is also paired with a video featuring Australian actress Yael Stone.

“It is such an honour for us to have Yael Stone performing our song Wild Seeds in this video,” the band shared in a statement.

“She is an actor – and a person – of integrity, honesty and strength. The song is about the wildness of youth, and Yael’s performance is both wild and intense, as well as darkly hilarious. We watch her in awe.”

Wild Seeds will be the band's first album since they released their acclaimed debut eight years ago.

Wild Seeds is our second album as Seeker Lover Keeper," they wrote

"This time around we decided to co-write all of the songs together, throwing ideas back and forth in Holly’s small studio, and sitting side by side at the piano in Sarah’s cosy lounge room. Sonically, we went for simplicity. Melodically, we favoured call-and-answer backing vocals that weave through melodies, carrying lyrics about the need for solitude, the wildness of youth, friendship, being true to yourself, and embracing the present moment.”

To celebrate the news, the trio have also announced they will be heading across the country for a 15-date tour this September and October.

Tickets for the shows go on sale next Monday 24 June.
