Police are searching for an attendee who kicked the victim in the head

A security guard at the Perth leg of Good Life Festival on Saturday was violently kicked in the head by a punter during an altercation.

Phone footage shows the security guard wrestling an attendee on the ground at the Claremont Showgrounds all ages event when another unidentified individual runs up and kicks him in the head.

After being rushed to hospital via ambulance, the guard was discharged a few hours later.

Good Life, promoted by Frontier Touring, have today issued a statement on the mattering, saying they “take these issues extremely seriously.”

“The safety of Good Life attendees and staff is our highest priority,” the statement read.
 
“Good Life promoters will continue to monitor his well-being. The incident is being investigated by the Police.”

Numerous angles of the attack have been complied into one video on a Facebook group to try identify the two individuals responsible, while the police investigate the matter.
