Scott Walker To Release New Album Next Month

The career of Scott Walker is one of the most fascinating in contemporary music; a pop star in the 1960s with The Walker Brothers, he went on to make some incredibly dark, strange and beautiful music under his own name when branching out to become a solo artist. While commercial success didn't follow him when he went solo,critical acclaim and adoration from his fans did.

Recent years have seen Walker find a home on 4AD Records who will release Bish Bosch, just his fifth solo record since 1974. With such a small amount of material to soak in, one can imagine the anticipation for a new release is extremely high. 

We're hearing that it's a more taut and colourful release than his more recent work, but we'll have to wait until Friday 30 November, when the record is released through 4AD/Remote Control, to find out for sure.
