It's set to be a huge conference this year
Melbourne's annual music industry conference Face The Music has slated in dates for 2016 this morning, so jot these down in your diary stat.
Taking over Melbourne on 17 and 18 November, Face The Music have committed to making their summit this year bigger, better and more revolutionary than ever. You'll still have a smorgasbord of keynotes, panels and networking opportunities with Australia and the world's most innovative music industry professionals, but with a renewed international focus.
This year will boast the inaugural year of live music, too. Expect showcases from labels, booking agents and up-and-coming acts like BIGSOUND have to offer, offering a chance for aspiring artists to get noticed and successful label execs to sign the next big thing.
Curated by programmers Ashley Sambrooks and Zac Abroms, Face The Music have yet to announce their venue this year, though as always it'll be right in the thick of Melbourne Music Week Hub's activities.
