Great cause, great musicians

DIY record label, Sad Grrrls Club Records have announced the release of The Bands Are Breaking Up. The live compilation will be released on 29 Feb, with all proceeds going directly to The Butterfly Foundation to help Australians with eating disorders.

The compilation was recorded in January at the festival of the same name at the Hamilton Station Hotel. Sad Grrrls Club's Rachel Maria Cox says, "it’s important that we start a healthy conversation around eating disorders and body image that’s broader than the current narrative … also so people can see that recovery is possible, and that there are organisations out there that can help you."

The compilation will feature musicians and bands such as: Lincoln Le Fevre, Samara Cullen, Rachel Maria Cox, Nathan Seeckts, Ess-Em, Erin Kidd, Eli Knight and many more.

The compilation will be available from sadgrrrlsclub.bandcamp.com on a pay-what-you-like basis.
