Russian Circles Return

Heavy trio return to Australia this October.

More Russian Circles More Russian Circles

By the time they left the country after their maiden Australian tour last year, everyone was talking about experimental metal outfit Russian Circles. It makes sense then that the band return to punish our eardrums with their glorious mélange of heavy music styles.

The band have been one of experimental metal's most talked about groups since their inception in 2004; they wasted no time in showing off their prowess on the live stage and have been prolific when it comes to releasing recorded material. Countless split release and singles clog up their discography alongside four full length studio records, each more punishing than the next.

Their latest, Empros, is without a doubt their heaviest to date and we can only imagine how incredible these songs are going to sound on the live stage when the band make their return to Australia.

They bring some friends with them this time around in Eagle Twin. While they are something of a new name, fans of underground progressive metal will know the band's Gentry Densley as one of the members of the long-standing metal giants Iceburn. Eagle Twin make their second visit to Australia in support of Russian Circles, ensuring all punters get a solid fix of heavy music for their dollar.
