Three-time Grammy Award winners The Pointer Sisters have announced they'll be returning to Australia next May for a 'Greatest Hits' headline tour in which the R&B group will perform classic tracks spanning across an over-40 year catalogue.
The California-founded outfit have enjoyed huge success on Australia's music charts, scoring their first top ten hit in 1977 with Fire, followed by nine more top 40 songs including Slow Hand, I'm So Excited, Jump, Neutron Dance, Dare Me, Should I Do It, Automatic, Baby Come & Get It and He's So Shy.
The shows will kick off in Brisbane on 27 May, before the group move on to perform in the Gold Coast, Adelaide, Hobart, Melbourne and Sydney.

The current line-up consists of long-term member Ruth Pointer, her grandaughter Sadako and co-founding member, Anita.
