Extra Pulp plans to take punters to new and interesting places around their city

More CC:Disco! More CC:Disco!

Dance-lovin' Sydneysiders will have the chance to get loose under the Harbour Bridge this January courtesy of new party series Extra Pulp, from the good folk at Under Ctrl and I OH YOU.

The inaugural shindig's festivities — set to be held on the outdoor deck at The Kerrigan, Pier One — will be soundtracked by guest selectors Jagwar Ma's Jono Ma, aka Juno Mars, as well as Melbourne disco icon CC: Disco!, one-man army Dreems, local DJ Simon Caldwell, and trans-antipodean outfit Rimbombo.

It all kicks off from 4pm on Wednesday 25 January, running through till about 10pm or so, because that's Sydney now. Although six hours is still a pretty good effort, especially considering it's only $25 on first release ($30 final).

It's important to note the Pier One location is just where the inaugural effort is being held — the ultimate plan, as encapsulated by the series' "Refreshingly Concentrated" tag line, is to take the parties to a bunch of new and interesting locations around the city, so it'll keep you on your toes in 2017 for more than just sheer rhythmic reasons.
