One punter is alleged to have had 35 pills on his person.
New South Wales Police have confirmed they charged over 140 people with drug offences after the Field Day festival in Sydney on New Year's Day.
Almost 20,000 revellers attended the event at The Domain to see acts like Flume, Solange, London Grammar, Wiz Khalifa, A$AP Rocky and many more, but many did not count on the presence of police drug dogs who picked up a number of punters carrying contraband into the event.
An 18-year-old man and a 20-year-old man will face court in February after allegedly being found in possession of a large amount of drugs and money, one of them caught with 35 ecstasy tablets.
As well as the drug offences, 22 people were ejected from the festival throughout the day, mainly due to issues relating to intoxication and disorderly conduct.
