Copresents has just released their line up for this years event, and it's a doozy, with the likes of Remi and Slum Sociable leading the pack.
It's that time of year where every day there's a new amazing event line up, and you might find yourself asking, how am I going to bloody choose? Well Melbourne, this event is for you. Copresents has just released their line up for this year's event, and it's a doozy.
Copresents is an event that the music industry students of RMIT curate and create each year, and this year they're partnering with the legends at Mushroom group. Held at RMIT's CBD campus in November, the event includes two open air stages - the Main Stage and the Soothsayer Stage.
This year's Copresents is sure to deliver the goods. Melbourne's hip-hop sweetheart Remi will be gracing the stage, already having a stellar year off the back of his sophomore EP Divas and Demons with fellow collaborator Sensible J. Slum Sociable are also on the bill, having just released their soul-infused electronica debut self-titled album. Another standout is Billy Davis & The Good Lords, who literally only a few days ago released a soulful, heartfelt, funky and unique album, A Family Portrait. The line up also features the likes of GL, Gabriella Cohen, Willaris. K, Blyolk and Soft Corporate, basically fulfilling all your home grown music needs.

You may have already heard of Soothsayer, the label behind some of Australia's favourite electronic music. Well their stage certainly won't disappoint this year, delivering us the tastiest line up including Wax’O Paradiso, Francis Inferno Orchestra, Love Deluxe (DJ set), Toni Yotzi and DJ Sarah.
With a line up this good, you don't really need any other reason to go, but we'll give you another one. The cherry on top of an already delicious event, $5 of every ticket sold goes to the awesome organisation HoMie. HoMie's primary mission is to provide pathways out of homelessness by providing brand-new clothing, training and job opportunities to people experiencing homelessness. They're also a slick streetwear label and are doing great things for the homeless throughout the country, and you can check out some of their amazing work here.
Tickets to Copresents start at just $49.90, an incredibly reasonable price for such a jam-packed line up. What a way to start festival season, Melbourne lovers!
