Opening this summer!
Sydney has scored a new live music venue, set to open this summer.
Described as “a new avant-garde establishment”, Terminal 4 is the latest endeavour from Untitled Group, the team behind Beyond The Valley, Pitch Music & Arts, Grapevine Gathering, Wildlands and more, as well as Melbourne electronic music hub Xe54.
The new venue is located at the White Bay Cruise Terminal in Balmain, with waterfront views over Glebe Island, Port Jackson and the waterways of Darling Harbour to the Harbour Bridge, and it’s expected to host “revered international and local electronic talents”.
It’s also been revealed that Untitled Group has teamed with Niche Productions, who have previously toured the likes of Jon Hopkins, Bonobo and Odesza and will now curate “world-class bills” for Terminal 4 year-round.
A statement from Untitled Group said that “T4 will see both companies fuse their expertise and innovation, to deliver cutting-edge events, carefully curated programming and high-end production in a truly unique space”.
“Offering awe-inspiring industrial design with soaring ceilings, the space is not only iconically Sydney but inevitably one that will create lifetime memories for the electronic music industry, artists and attendees alike,” they said.
