A New Mini Music Festival Is Taking Over Brisbane's CBD Next Week

4 May 2021 | 9:10 am | Staff Writer

A new mini music festival, City Symphony Live, is taking over Brisbane's CBD.

Brisbane's CBD will be taken over by a brand new mini music festival next weekend.

Taking place across several locations on Saturday 15 May, the City Symphony Live event will feature live performances from local acts like Hope D, Ella Fence, The Ancient Bloods, MZAZA, JADE New World Collective, Kitch Wesche and The Barefoot Boyz.

The free festival will go ahead in support of the Queensland Music Trails initiative, launched by Queensland Music Festival last month.

“The cultural vibrancy of our CBD is such an important contributor to the way locals and visitors experience Brisbane," QMF CEO Joel Edmondson said.

“City Symphony will be a great example of how our most talented young musicians can make a real difference to how the CBD feels.
