Neil Finn Announces Two Intimate Sydney And Melbourne Shows

This coming May, fans in Melbourne and Sydney will be treated to two intimate shows by Neil Finn, at the Melbourne Recital Hall on his birthday on Wednesday, 27 May, and at Sydney’s City Recital Hall Angel Place on Saturday, 30 May.

The special sets will span Finn’s expansive catalogue with Split Enz, Crowded House, The Finn Brothers and his solo work. The shows are sure to be a rare and dynamic experience, as Finn takes to his electric and acoustic guitars and piano.

“I find playing solo to be a very free environment where I’m able to explore strange tangents, reinvent old songs, reminisce with friends and lampoon at will. I love it,” Finn says.

These two shows will be Finn’s only solo performances in the East Coast in the past ten years, apart from two shows at the Seymour Centre in Sydney in 2010 and a set at the Meredith Festival.

Tickets for these special performances will go on sale at 10am this Friday, 17 April. Fan club members will be able to buy pre-sale tickets a day earlier with more information at www.neilfinn.com.
