Multiple Drug Charges Made At Boy George's Sydney DJ Show

Over 30 people who charged.

Police have confirmed over 30 people were charged with drug offences at Boy George's DJ show in Sydney this past weekend. 

The Culture Club frontman performed at the Ivy nightclub in the CBD on Saturday night where police confirmed to The Music they "conducted an operation in and around" the venue.

Police say 28 people were searched and found in possession of cocaine and or MDMA, while 13 men and 15 women aged between 23 and 60 were charged with drug possession. 

According to The Daily Telegraph, a 55-year-old man was found with eight capsules containing a small amount of what they believed to be ecstasy. 

Police have told The Music that those charged are due to appear in Downing Centre Local Court at a later date.
