MTV To Host Ausmusic Month Popup Channel Complete With Informercials

It all kicks off in two weeks.

MTV have announced today they'll be hosting a new popup channel all throughout November to celebrate Ausmusic Month 2021.

With hosting duties from the likes of Vera Blue, KLP, Travis Collins and Polish Club lead vocalist David Novak, the 24/7 channel will feature a stack of specialist programming showcasing the best in Aussie music from across the generation. Countdowns, interviews and behind-the-scenes specials will feature throughout the month, highlighting local legends old and new alike.

A special series of informercials hosted by Novak will also air throughout the month, showing off some of the best music merch from performers around the country. Anything from the Tones & I stubby holder to the official Daryl Braithwaite surfboard could be getting a look in - as well as further pieces of memorabilia from the likes of Amy Shark, G Flip, Baker Boy, Jack River and many, many more.

The special run of bespoke advertisements runs in conjunction with Australian music industry relief organisation Support Actwhich kicks off their annual Aus Music T-Shirt Day on Friday, November 19.
