More Names Added To Boogie 9 Festival Line-Up

12 February 2015 | 1:55 pm | Staff Writer

New locals and internationals alike join the boutique festival's ninth year

The line-up for this April's boutique Boogie 9 festival in Tallarook, Victoria, has been bolstered with the addition of several new acts to the roster, including US debutant Strand Of Oaks, Melburnian quintet The Murlocs and fellow big-city-dwellers ScotDrakula, among others.

The new faces will be joining an already-announced contingent of acts that includes the likes of Pokey LaFarge, Justin Townes Earle, Drunk Mums and The Bombay Royale, with ascendant outfit Dorsal Fins, urban folk troubadour Darren Hanlon, fledgling group Pearls, Melbourne four-piece Parking Lot Experiments, band-not-bikie-gang The Finks, Victorian post-punks Mangelwurzel, and the tri-state-born Goatpiss Gasoline, whose members have roots in Tasmania, New South Wales and Adelaide.

The ninth iteration of Boogie hits Bruzzy's Farm, Tallarook, on 3-5 April this year. Tickets are available now, but selling quickly, so head to the event's website  (or, if you're local, Greville Records) and suss that pass before the opportunity passes you by.

Full line-up details are below; for all other news and information regarding Boogie 9, check our Festivals hub.
