She brings Shady Lane to the roster

Artist manager Meg Williams have joined Spark & Opus as a manager and partner to founder Briese Abbott.

Abbott, who started the company in 2011, recently picked up Cub Scouts in a co-manage with Rowan Brand. Also on the company's roster are PVT and Elizabeth Rose. Williams – who is currently the Executive Director at the Association of Artist Managers – brings Shady Lane to the roster.

Today Abbott said, “Our artists have a very exciting year ahead and I can't think of a better business partner to help support their success than Meg. Her experience and taste will be a huge asset to Spark & Opus.”

Williams told theMusic.com.au that she was “very excited” about the partnership. She has previously involved with the management of Melodie Nelson and Megastick Fanfare, who are currently off-cycle. She's also had stints with MusicNSW/Indent and Sound Summit.
