Mark Sultan – AKA BBQ – Announces Solo Aus Dates

The announcement of a three-city King Khan & BBQ Show tour that was announced a couple of weeks ago was kinda heart-warming for a lot of Australians as it was further evidence that the duo are well and truly back together as friends and collaborators and a reminder that they care about us enough to want to pay a visit.

Today one half of the duo made a surprise announcement, Mark Sultan – aka BBQ – announcing he'll be bringing his unique one-man-soul-band to venues along the east coast after the tour with Khan wraps up. Sultan's voice is one of the best in rock'n'roll, no kidding, and his last Australian tour (as contentious as certain shows may have been) was a damn good time.

He has kicked arse with Khan, as a member of Les Sexareenos (possibly the most underrated garage rock band of the past couple of decades) and the Spaceshits as well as in solo mode, so we're excited to get the chance to see him again.
