The acclaimed Tasmanian punk troupe have a new video to show you before they set out
Beloved Tassie-bred punks and freshly minted New World Artists signees Luca Brasi have announced a solid run of tour dates throughout March next year, dropping the accompanying clip for new single Benthos while they're at it.
Joined by UK-based skate punks Gnarwolves and West Australian upstarts Tired Lion, the renowned southern-state outfit will kick off their 2015 tour in Newcastle, with a free show at the Small Ballroom on Wednesday, March 11, before heading on to take in shows in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne (twice, including one all-ages performance), Hobart, Adelaide, and Perth, where they'll also play two shows, finishing with an all-ages appearance at HQ on Sunday, March 22.
It'll have been a massive twelve months for the Tassie boys by the time they're rolling round the country, with second full-length By A Thread experiencing broad acclaim since its release in March via Poison City Records. The consequent months have seen them pick up an honourable mention at the J Awards, put on a buzzworthy display at Brisbane's BIGSOUND showcase, and enjoy a stuffed-full calendar of headline and support performances alongside the likes of Violent Soho, The Smith Street Band, Bodyjar and Title Fight — so the Luca Brasi that will stand before you this March is a wholly mature, more experienced prospect than we've ever had the privilege of seeing before.
