Jay Z Confirms 4:44 Project Is A New Album

Jay Z has ended the speculation by confirming that the video posted on Tidal's Facebook page earlier today is indeed a new album. 

The rapper posted the below image on his own Facebook just hours ago.

30 June — mark your calendar now. 

The craze surrounding the mysterious 4.44 project could very well be a new Jay Z album, if that's how you interpreted the new clip posted on the rapper's Tidal Facebook page today. 

After a video featuring actors Mahershala Ali, Lupita Nyong'o and Danny Glover dropped earlier this month, today's new teaser, backed by Jay Z's undeniable vocals, wraps up with the caption "Jay:Z 4.44 6.30.17".

So, while we can in no way guarantee an album is on the way, we can at the very least assume some new music is coming.

And considering he hasn't released a studio album since 2013's Magna Carta Holy Grail, whatever it may be, 30 June cannot come sooner.
