Rock‘n’roll/blues two-piece The Graveltones have announced they will release their debut album Don’t Wait Down on 3 April through independent label Masterstroke Records via MGM.
The band have also revealed a string of Australian shows from March 27 at Cherry Bar in Melbourne, finishing off at Black Bear Lodge in Brisbane on 12 April.
The tour follows a nomination for Best New Band at Britain’s Classic Rock Awards and the release of two EP’s The Gravelstones and Limited Collection in 2012 and 2013 respectively.
Band members Jimmy O (vocals, guitar) and Mikey Sorbello (drums) have played a sizeable 350 shows spanning across the UK, Europe and Australia, including a UK tour with American rockers Rival Sons and a deal with Rimmel who used the band’s first single for their advertising campaign featuring Kate Moss.
