Their latest album is just weeks away
Just weeks after announcing their upcoming album …And Then You Shoot Your Cousin, The Roots return trumpeting their second single from the record, a feel-good tune that talks of embracing-the-now called Tomorrow.
Opening with classic, upbeat keys on loop with a cheerful whistle to pair, the song maintains simplicity and leaves no room for rap. Vocals are solely that of R&B singer Raheem DeVaughn, whose soulful splendour carries the ballad to a much-anticipated peak.
The album …And Then You Shoot Your Cousin - the band's eleventh full-length - is due for release on Friday 23 May via Universal locally.
