They haven't toured Australia since 2007, when they tore through venues across the country with great force and fury, but New York State's Limp Wrist have confirmed they will be back in Australia very early next (and late this) year for five shows along the east coast of the country.

SInce 1998 they have been one of the most highly praised bands to come from the queercore scene, their live shows proving to be intense, in-your-face affairs and their songs some of the most vital underground powerviolence-leaning hardcore punk being put to tape.

The band have released a second LP since that last visit to our shores and, as per usual, have been touring like crazy across the planet so we're expecting these shows to be just as crazy and awesome as last time.

Saturday 31 January – The Bendigo Hotel, Melbourne (with Shit Weather, Infinite Void, Ratsak)

Wednesday 4 January – The Annandale, Sydney (with Hard-Ons , Shit Weather, Glory Hole)
Thursday 5 January – Crowbar, Brisbane (with Last Chaos, Sick People, Heroin SS)
