Leading US Talent Agency Takes Over Aussie Booking Agency

Artist Voice is now 100% owned by the William Morris Endeavour talent agency

One of the world's leading talent agencies have acquired local booking agency Artist Voice

US company William Morris Endeavour IMG have bought out the Aussie company, which was founded in 2010 by Brett Murrihy and Matt Gudinski as part of the Mushroom Group. 

William Morris boasts undoubtedly the world's biggest roster of Hollywood actors , but also covers multiple other platforms, including music, the division of which Artist Voice will now fall under. 

The deal will see Murrihy take on a greater role, as reported by Billboard, taking on the head of music for the Asia Pacific. Artist Voice already has locations Hong Kong and Singapore, as well as Melbourne, Sydney and Auckland.

"I am excited to join Marc and his incredible team,” said Murrihy of the news. “This acquisition will significantly enhance the opportunities for all of our artists and their management, and I look forward to remaining at the forefront of the live music landscape and expanding our footprint throughout Asia Pacific."

Artist Voice's roster includes names such as Chet Faker, 5 Seconds Of Summer, Angus & Julia Stone, Neil Finn, The Jezabels, plus internationals like Chvrches, The Naked & Famous, Sky Ferreira and more. 

WME looks after the careers of big name Hollywood stars like Ben Affleck, Steve Carell, Tina Fey, Kristen Bell and Emma Stone.
