Kram To Join Tumbleweed's Richie Lewis At Intimate Brisbane Show

4 February 2015 | 10:56 am | Staff Writer

Two bona fide legends of Australian rock hit The Bunker next week

Mononymous Spiderbait drummer Kram will be joining Richie Lewis, the long-serving vocalist of Oz rock veterans Tumbleweed, for a once-off intimate acoustic show in Brisbane next week.

The celebrated musos will be taking to the stage together with fellow former Tumbleweed player Al Lynch at O'Malley's Irish Pub's new mid-week pop-up club, The Bunker, next Thursday, 12 February, as part of its "Naked Sessions" program. The gig will serve as an opportunitity for Lewis to share some unplugged-style, previously unheard solo compositions as well as stripped-back Tumbleweed favourites to sate the faithful's appetite for the classics.

The trio will be capably supported by local hard rock outfit Heavy Roller and Ipswich faves Bud Beckett & The Something Somethings, though in keeping with the vibe of the night both acts will also be performing acoustically.

Limited pre-sale tickets are available now (from $20+bf) via The Bunker's website; more tickets will be available at the door but don't expect to be able to wait too long — to keep things up close and personal, there aren't that many to go around.
