Staff of popular Kings Cross venue Hugos Lounge are considering legal action against the New South Wales Government after 70 workers were made redundant following the club's closure this week.
According to Fairfax, owner Dave Owens and the staff members have blamed Sydney's controversial lockout laws for a massive decline in revenue which has put the venue into administration.
Details of the proposed class action are expected to be announced today.

The trendy nightspot which has operated for 15 years has suffered a 60 percent decline in revenue since 2012 and had its last week of trading this past weekend.
