As well as being forced to postponing all April/May dates of their upcoming tour of the US and Europe, which had labelmate Leah Senior set to support, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard have had to cancel two sold-out Astor screenings of their new film, Chunky Shrapnel.

It's not all doom and gloom though, in a statement made on their Facebook, which you can read below, the group also quietly mentioned that there are "Heaps of new tunes on the way too" and promised to reschedule shows "as many shows as we possibly can".

Though there doesn't seem to be too much information available about Chunky Shrapnel as yet, production shots shared on the band's socials hint that it follows them through their European tour last September and October. It was also directed by John Angus Stewart, whose name you might recognise from the music video where Gizz light themselves on fire, or the one where Ambrose Kenny-Smith tears around an abandoned lot with his top off.
