King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard have blitzed through the US charts this week with their latest album, Infest The Rats' Nest.

Not only has the Melbourne outfit's second LP of 2019 and fifteenth overall scored the band's highest entry on the Billboard Top 200 (#64) but it has also helped them crack top spot on the Emerging Artists list for the first time ever.

Infest The Rats' Nest has also debuted at #1 on the Vinyl Albums chart, #2 on the Tastemaker Albums chart, #3 on the Independent Albums chart, #5 on the Alternative Albums chart, #7 on the Top Album Sales chart and #8 on the Rock Albums chart.

The US debuts come only a week after the record debuted at #2 back home in Australia and at #1 on the ARIA Vinyl Albums list.

Meanwhile, Aussie up-and-comer Tones & I has hit the US charts for the very first time this week on the back of the global success of her track, Dance Monkey, which has debuted at #22 on the Alternative Digital Song Sales chart , while Tones has also placed at #49 on the Emerging Artists list.

The Byron Bay-based songwriter will aim to top the ARIA Singles chart for the fifth-week straight tomorrow, however she will have to fend off Taylor Swift who will be looking to dominate the local charts following the release of her new album, Lover.
