The band will tour nationally through March and April
Last month, we dropped some details regarding the impending release of King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard's fourth album, Oddments. The date of the album release – which was originally penned for February 14 – has been pushed back a month due to unforseen production issues and will instead be released March 7.
The postponed album release will be followed closely by a lengthy 17 date tour in which King Gizzard will play five consecutive shows in Melbourne and three in Sydney. Throughout these dates, the seven-piece will be appearing at a handful of festivals including Secret Garden Festival and Golden Plains – both of which are sold out – along with Gumball Festival and the Farmer & The Owl Laneway Party. And if that wasn't already extensive enough, they'll also be stopping at Newcastle, Geelong, Ballarat, Castlemaine, Fremantle and Perth.
The tour commences in March and will wrap up mid-April. You can find ticket info and more details regarding dates below in the Guide.
