In a recent interview with the New Zealand Herald, Big Day Out promoter Ken West has spoken out about many of the issues that plagued the 2012 instalment of the event. The interview addresses the problems he had locking down headlining acts, his attempts to mediate scheduling conflicts, the abrupt departure of his business partner Vivian Lees, as well as the future prospects for the festival.
